Mel Cash, a master of sports and remedial massage and founder of the Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage (ISRM), has levied high praise at The Massage Training School, calling it “the jewel in the crown” of sports and remedial massage training in the UK.
His comments were made in September after supervising the final practical examination of the second group of graduates who were studying the industry’s highest professional qualification – the BTEC Professional Diploma (Level 5) in Clinical Sports and Remedial Massage. The standard of clinical massage was so impressive that all the graduates achieved pass marks in excess of 80%.
Anna Maria Mazzieri, the school’s director and lead tutor, commented: “Congratulations to all 12 of our 2011 graduates for achieving the highest level of professional status in clinical sports and remedial massage. It is an honour for the school to be at the forefront of setting professional training standards that are defining the future of the industry. We intend to build on our success and add to the growing pool of professional therapists via our new sister school in Bristol which opened at the beginning of October.”
