All 12 of the school's first diploma students graduate in 2011

The Massage Training School's second group of graduates all qualified successfully in September with the industry's highest qualification of sports and remedial massage - the BTEC Professional Diploma (Level 5) in Clinical Sports and Remedial Massage. In this the first year that the school has run the course, all 12 of its 2011 graduates are now some of the most highly trained practitioners in the UK.

The school is one of only a handful of specialist training institutions in the UK accredited by the ISRM (Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage) to deliver what is regarded as the highest professional qualification in sports and remedial massage.

All the newly qualified graduates will be able to take their pick from a wide variety of self-employment opportunities in the private healthcare and sports sectors, particularly given growing demand for professional practitioners in the lead up to next year’s Olympics.

All are eligible for full membership of the ISRM which entitles them to register with the CNHC (the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council), the regulatory body for the industry, and thereby attain the corresponding quality standard.

The popularity of the course together with the school's reputation continues to build demand for the quality of training offered. A third group of students will graduate in June 2012, while new courses are due to start this autumn in Exmouth and at the new sister training centre in Bristol.
