Designed for therapists wishing to upgrade to the new ISRM BTEC Level 5 qualification and join the Institute of Sport & Remedial Massage.
The course is available to formally qualified massage and sports therapists with at least two year's clinical experience, as well as to doctors, physiotherapists, osteopaths and chiropractors
Initial Assessment
This initial assessment is mapped by the ISRM against the Learning Outcomes that make up our BTEC qualification. The assessment will allow you to demonstrate your level of knowledge and competence which has been acquired from your initial training and from Continual Professional Development courses. From the result of this assessment we will discuss with you which subject or specification needs to be upgraded and advice you on which class you need to attend.
Bridging Programme price structure
Bridging programme’s registration £500 (£200 non-refundable) which includes:
- BTEC registration and ISRM administration fees
- 6 months ISRM student membership
- Home study coursework - 4 written assignments and 2 case studies marked by ISRM assessors and returned with marks and correction notes
- Practice treatment log
- Pre-exam practice day
- ISRM exams (1 theory, 1 practical)
- BTEC and ISRM certification

£100 per class you need to attend to fulfil your upgrade.
There are no compulsory classes or subjects you need to attend. With the initial assessment we identify what needs to be updated.
